What is your Commission?

What's your commission? (Over the phone) 

Reply #1. Mr./Mrs. Seller, that's a great question. That's the first thing we will talk about when I see you tomorrow night at 7 PM. I will cover my marketing plan, the timing, my fees… everything you need to know to make the right decision. Okay? (Fair enough) 

Reply #2. While I understand that you need to know the answer to that, at the same time let me ask you… isn't the most important question… how much are you going to net on the sale of your property? (Absolutely) Great. 

It's probably best to discuss that tonight when I see you and we will factor that in… along with everything else we talk about when we create our strategy to get your home sold for top dollar, fair enough? (Okay) 

Reply #3. My commission is anywhere from 0 to 7%. What we decide on will be based on how we price your home and what selling strategies we decide to use. I'll see you tonight at 7 PM and we will answer all those questions at the same time, make sense? (Yes it does) 

Reply #4. That's a great question Mr./Mrs. Seller…. Just so you know, my commission is zero unless I sell your home. Now, I  have not even seen your home yet. Let's decide on the commission amount after we talk. (But can't you just tell me what percent you charge?) 

Not until I see your home… but I can tell you one thing… before I ask you to sign a contract, I assure you that you will be very satisfied. Okay? (All right)
