Hi there, I want to cover something really significant with you today that covers 6 habits that the rich people in the world exhibit on a very high percentage basis.
#1. The first one says that 80% of all rich people, have long-term goals. Now, we’re talking about long-term goals that they’ve actually written down. The people that aren’t nearly as wealthy, only 12% of them have written goals. So look at the big difference there, 80% versus 12%. Let’s look at a couple of other things.
#2. The second habit is that 88% of wealthy people spend at least 30 minutes a day reading. And the painful aspect of that, from the other side of the coin, is that people that are not wealthy typically don’t read at all. As a result, 85% of wealthy people read at least two books a month, two a month. So that’ll give you a good barometer.
Now, why are we covering these things? Well, think about this for a second. If you’re going to be where you want to be, in other words, if you want to have more money, if you want to be more wealthy, then it makes sense for you to do things that the wealthy people do.
#3. Number three says that 63% of all wealthy people listen to audio books or audio tapes for self-improvement when they’re driving in the car, when they’re exercising, or just sitting around the house, 63%. Conversely, people that don’t have a lot of money, only 5% of them are doing that. There’s a lot of time you’re spending in your car or when you’re exercising, you could be listening to self-improvement information or just listening to audio books.
#4. Number four characteristic says that 67% of wealthy people watch less than one hour of television per day. They’re only watching TV less than one hour. Conversely, now this won’t surprise you, 77% of people who are not so wealthy watch at least one hour, and more, of television every single day.
#5. Habit number five for rich people. They sleep a minimum of seven hours a day. 89% of wealthy people say that they sleep a minimum of seven hours a day. Dr. Oz has said very clearly that the key to anti-aging, to high energy, and having a healthy and fulfilling life is to get lots of sleep.
#6. Last point. Habit #6 says that 76% of wealthy people exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day, four times a week. Exercising half an hour, four times a week.
So there you have it. Six characteristics, six habits of wealthy people. Look at the ones you’re not doing. You’re probably doing some of these already. Look at the ones you’re not doing, add them to your list. Enhance who you are and who you’re being. Take your life to a whole new level. And remember, no shortcuts!
