
A Simple Way to “Get It Done”
The only way to “get it done” every day when you are helping people to sell and buy homes is to be consistent in working on the RIGHT things all the time. So Bruce, you ask, “How do I deal with all the distractions and interruptions that come up during the day?”
Here’s a simple two-step plan:
Step #1. Be more selfish – decide you are going to look after yourself first. You are not being selfish – you are being intentional. NO Excuses
Step #2. Write out the answer to this question every night before you go to bed…
What 3 things if I do them tomorrow will make the biggest difference in helping me achieve what I want for myself and my family?”
Conclusion:
The next day… DO THEM. Don’t make up excuses, don’t fall prey to your resistances, and don’t let other people get in the way of your success.
How often do you suppose Steve Jobs said to himself… “Oh well, Bob is having a bit of a problem so I guess I’ll stop doing what’s important to me and help him out”? Answer… NEVER.
