UNTAPPED OPPORTUNITIES…we are all looking for that new Source of Business that we have yet to explore. Those new markets or those new niches that no one else has discovered. Some would tell you that they do not exist! Actually, they do. They exist for you. Why?…because there are certain resources that YOU have not yet explored. There are lots of "Untapped Opportunities" waiting for you to dig into. They may not be new to someone else but they are new to you. Now is the time for you to expand your horizons.
Here is your ACTION STEP… take this approach…. Remove the filters that are holding you back. Here are some ideas:
1. Pick a "farm" area of 1000 to 3000 homes and work it consistently (personal contact & mail)
2. Take your list of Past Clients and Center of Influence and contact them ALL personally every 90 days
3. Become the FSBO expert in your area
4. Revamp your Personal Website and consider iadding a separate "Stealth" Website to create more leads
5. Start doing Consumer Seminars… "First-Time Buyer" Seminars is a good place to start
6. Hold semi-annual Client Appreciation Events to promote customer loyalty/referrals
7. Develop a computer-driven "drip campaign" for your potential clients & advise them of all new listings
Recognize that there are only two reasons you have not gone after some of the above ideas in the past… 1) you were hesitant to venture into that new niche, or 2) you just hadn't thought of it yet. Whatever the reason, it is OK…that was yesterday. Now is the time to "take the plunge". Be Bold! Have faith that you can open new doors and expand your business. Pick two or three new opportunities, develop the skills required, and go for it! It will inspire you and it's way better than standing still. NO Excuses.
