Prospecting – Setting More Appointments

Be A “Merchant of Hope”

One of the best techniques for setting more appointments is to “give them hope”. When you add the promise of what is possible to the equation, they will want to see you.

Here are some great examples of “Give Them Hope” from our “All the Right Words” package when Closing for the Listing Appointment:

We just sold the home down the street for more than asking price! My marketing can make that possible for you too. Let’s get together – should we meet today at 5 PM or tomorrow at 6 PM?

Mr./Mrs. Seller…let’s set aside 15 minutes for me to come over and have a look at your place – I can give you some ideas on how you can get that new home for your family! Do you want to see me today at 5 PM or tomorrow at 3 PM?

That’s EXACTLY why we should get together. I can show you my advanced marketing techniques and then you can decide if you want to move forward. Should we meet at 7 PM tonight or at 5 PM tomorrow? 

I have some exciting ideas on how we can create massive exposure for your home on the Internet. Let’s do this, I don’t mind – let’s get together today at 5 PM or would you rather do it tomorrow at 6?

All of the above closes are examples of “giving them hope”. Let them know what’s possible and they will want to see you. NO Excuses. BK
