Have you ever walked into your real estate office and being shocked to see that Fred or Martha had another couple of deals up on the sales board? Of course it usually happens when your name is not anywhere to be found on the same board. Ouch!
It’s hard not to react and wonder “How did they do that? Why can’t I be that lucky?“, isn’t it?
The way to deal with that issue is simply this… Remind yourself that the only person you should be comparing yourself to is YOU. Direct your emotions back to your targets, your goals, your aspirations, and the amount of effort you are putting into your success. That’s all that counts!
So here’s 2 suggestions:
1. Stop comparing yourself to others, focus on what it is you are doing and how well you are doing it.
2. Never lose sight of the fact that just because something is going well for another individual doesn’t mean that their life is perfect. Au contraire – everyone has “stuff” going on in their lives. Just deal with you and the important aspects of your life.
Get back to work, get back on your schedule, and keep doing the right things day after day. That’s your no-fail program and the best part is it doesn’t involve anyone else or their results. NO Excuses.
