Funny Isn’t It?

YOUR SUPER-CONSCIOUSNESS… every Salesperson has a “high gear” that kicks in just before they go on a business trip or a vacation. You know how it works… you have two days left to get everything done before you go away. Your super – consciousness kicks in and all of a sudden you become amazingly efficient. You are like a butcher “cutting out the fat”. You only deal with the high-priority items, you put the unimportant tasks at the bottom of the pile, and you explain to everyone around you… “I don’t have time for that I’m going away in a couple of days”.

It isn’t like you aren’t aware of this capability you have within you… haven’t you breathed a sigh of relief as your plane takes off and you reflect on what you accomplished (“Whew! I can’t believe I got all that done… I did it!”) How did you do that? Your super-conscious took over.

Here is your ACTION STEP… what did you do differently? What did your super – consciousness do to change your normal routine? Here’s what you did:

1. You started earlier in the day
2. You had a very clear “to do” list
3. You eliminated all the unnecessary tasks. Not surprisingly, they were the ones that didn’t produce revenue anyway!
4. It was easy to push aside and/or ignore the “time vampires”. This time you had justification (“I’ve got no choice, I’m going away”)
5. Your “word economy” with your prospects and clients was amazing! You eliminated the chitchat, handled objections beautifully, asked for appointments quicker, and asked for the order much more naturally.
6. You didn’t get wrapped up in any drama. Rejection and disappointment meant nothing to you. No time…NEXT!
7. Best of all, you got everything done… everything that was important. You left on your trip with a clear conscience.

Why not do this every day? It’s not an impossible dream to accomplish all this in one day… you do it every time you go away! Treat every day as if you were going on a trip tomorrow. You don’t need an excuse (“I’m going away”) to operate that way. Create the habits and routines that eliminate all the clutter and the inconsistencies in your performance. Your super – consciousness is already built-in. You just have to use it! NO Excuses.
