Here are some answers for INTERNET LEAD CONVERSION. Let’s answer this question…what should I expect from the effort I put in?
Three answers…
#1. First of all, if it’s a one-way connection, in other words, an internet lead comes in, you respond to it, you answer their question, but there’s no two-way connection. It’s just one way. You will get about 2% to 4% return on your investment. 2% to 4% of those leads will actually become a paycheck for you.
#2. When there’s a two-way connection…meaning that you respond, they connect back, email or texting, but it’s still on the internet you can expect a 6% to 8% return for that. So you’ll improve your odds from 2% to 4% to a 6% to 8% return.
#3. Lastly, when you create a relationship and you are communicating face to face or over the phone, your results will typically jump to 20% to 30%. The return on time spent becomes a lot more efficient.
So what does that tell you? Well, first of all, don’t be upset with the one-way connection or the two-way connection that’s just through the internet. It is what it is. Move fast through those leads and do not be attached to the outcome.
Your job is to generate a personal connection so you can get it to a 20% to 30% conversion factor (or even more). Move quickly through all internet leads initially. Here’s a great rule to follow…make an effort to connect with them three times. If there is no personal connection over the phone or face-to-face, move on, go on to the next one.
2 – 4%, 6 to 8%, and 20 to 30% or more, now you know what to expect. Go out and get them.
Good suggestion. It makes so much sense, I will surely adopt this rule.
