When you are “feeling good” physically it’s because your body is working the way it’s supposed to. When you’re not feeling your best, it’s because one or two of the many parts of your body are not functioning as well as normal.
Your real estate Sales Business operates exactly the same way. It too has many “moving parts”. When all the parts are working nicely together you get great results, you make more sales, everything flows smoothly, and you make more money. So how do you ensure that your business “feels good”?
Think of it this way… the “moving parts” in your business can be equated to two categories: the Systems you use and the Skills you demonstrate. So here’s the challenge, actually two challenges…
1. How healthy are your Systems? (examples: lead follow-up, marketing, price reductions, listing management, money management, delegation, etc.)
2. How healthy are your Skills (examples: lead generation, asking for referrals, making presentations, social media, objection handling, closing, etc.)
Why not take one System and one Skill that you’d like to “make healthier” and do some work on each of them. Here’s a simple approach that I know will work extremely well.
Work on that one Skill (by role-playing, etc.) for 30 minutes early each day before you start your prospecting. Work on that one System near the end of each day for 30 minutes before you go home.
